SUMMARY:[Wait List Available] Musical Chairs\, Encore!
DESCRIPTION:Don’t pass up the opportunity to claim this progressive dinner for eight people in four unique homes in downtown Knoxville. The hosts will prepare and serve a four-course spring menu paired to this season’s KSO concerts. Walking from one home to the next\, you’ll enjoy the distinctive fun ambiance of downtown Knoxville. And you’ll be delighted with the ways the hosts have paired their courses (and beverages) to the KSO performances. \nYou’ll start with appetizers at the home of Gay and Bill Lyons at The Overlook\, a contemporary building at 608 W. Hill Avenue. Swedish appetizers\, including smorgatstarta\, will be served to complement “ABBA: The Concert.” \nNext\, you’ll walk a few blocks to the home of Jacque and Cliff Hawks in the historic Elliott Building at 207 W. Church Avenue. They will serve a fresh and fabulous spring soup themed to Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring.” \nThe main course will be served at the home of Cynthia Moxley and Alan Carmichael in the historic J.C. Penney Building at 416 Gay Street. The coq au vin – a quintessential 70’s favorite and one approved by Julia Child – will pair well with “Fire & Rain: 70’s Folk Anthems.” \nDessert will be served at the home of Monique and Bruce Anderson in the historic Glencoe Building at 615 State Street. The dessert\, chosen to compliment “Appalachian Journeys\,” will give a nod to the region and send you home with a smile. \nThis is an easy walking evening – which is a nice break between courses. It can be driven\, as well. Hosts will provide addresses and access instructions.
