[SOLD OUT] Musical Chairs

April 2, 2022 @ 6:00 pm

Reserve your seat at a celebration of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra’s 2021-2022 season in four downtown residences. The four courses – with beverage pairings – at this progressive dinner for eight are themed to four of the KSO’s concerts this season. Your hosts will conduct you through the evening’s musical and culinary lineup.

First Stop
Saluting KSO Pops’ “Hotel California – the music of The Eagles”
It’s another Tequila Sunrise with California style appetizers at Gay and Bill Lyons’ condo in The Overlook

Second Stop
Tipping the hat to Merchant & Gould Concertmaster & Friends’ performance of “The Trout”
Take a short walk to Cynthia Moxley and Alan Carmichael’s loft in the J.C.Penny Building for a delicious Salad Nicoise – with smoked trout, of course!

Third Stop
We’ll be imagining a trip with the Merchant & Gould Concertmaster & Friends on their “Tour of Italy.”
Two homemade raviolis from two regions of Italy will be served at Jacque and Cliff Hawks’ condo in The Elliot: Cappellacce di Zucca filled with butternut squash and a sage brown butter sauce (from the Emilia-Romagna region) and Agnolotti al Plin with a meat ragu filling served with pomodoro sauce (from the Piedmont region).

Final Stop
Celebrate the Merchant & Gould Concertmaster & Friends’ “Claire de Lune” performance.
Guests will finish the evening in France with classic creme brulee at Monique and Bruce Anderson’s condo in The Glencoe. (Oh, and there might be champagne!).

This is an easy walking evening – which is a nice break between courses. It can be driven, as well. Hosts will provide addresses and access instructions.
